Welcome to Orient Desert Camp. By making a reservation with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These policies are designed to ensure a safe, enjoyable, and transparent experience for all our guests in the heart of the Erg Chebbi desert.
Our rates are listed in Euros (€) per suite, per night. They are on a half-board basis and include:
Accommodation in a private luxury tented suite.
A gourmet multi-course dinner.
A hearty traditional breakfast.
Welcome mint tea upon arrival and bottled water in your suite.
Complimentary Wi-Fi in the main camp areas.
24/7 assistance from our on-site camp staff. Local tourist taxes of €2.50 per person per night are not included and must be paid on-site. Children under 2 years stay free of charge.
To confirm your reservation, a deposit of 50% of the total booking cost is required.
The remaining balance must be paid at least 30 days before your scheduled arrival date.
We accept payments via secure international bank transfer or a major credit card through a secure payment link.
Credit card transactions may incur a 3% processing fee.
All charges are processed in Moroccan Dirham (MAD) in accordance with local banking regulations, at the exchange rate applicable on the day of the transaction.
Cancellations must be sent in writing via email to contact@orientdesertcamp.com. The following conditions apply:
Cancellations made more than 60 days before the arrival date: Full refund of the deposit, less a €50 administrative fee.
Cancellations made between 31 and 60 days before the arrival date: The 50% deposit is non-refundable.
Cancellations made 30 days or less before the arrival date: 100% of the total booking cost is due and non-refundable.
Refunds are not provided for no-shows, late arrivals, or early departures. We strongly recommend all guests purchase comprehensive travel insurance.
A minimum 2-night stay applies to all full camp bookings.
Full prepayment is required within 7 days of the reservation confirmation to secure the booking.
Late payments may result in the automatic cancellation of the reservation.
Any changes to the number of guests are non-refundable unless agreed upon in writing beforehand.
Additional agreements may apply for weddings, private events, or corporate retreats.
Children under 2: Stay free of charge. A crib is available upon request, subject to availability.
Children 2–12 years: €40 per child per night when sharing a suite with two adults.
Extra bed (13+ years): €70 per night, including half-board.
A maximum of one extra bed can be added to the Blue Suite. A maximum of two extra beds can be added to the Black and Orange Suites. The Green Suite cannot accommodate an extra bed.
Check-in: From 3:00 PM
Check-out: Until 12:00 PM (Noon)
Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and may incur additional fees. Please inquire in advance.
We strive to maintain a peaceful and respectful environment for all guests. By staying at our camp, you agree to:
Respect the privacy and tranquility of other guests.
Refrain from playing loud music or making excessive noise, especially after 11 PM.
Not bring outside food or alcoholic beverages into the camp without prior arrangement.
Follow all safety instructions from our staff, especially during activities.
Refrain from smoking inside the tents (designated outdoor smoking areas are available).
All guests must hold a passport that is valid for at least 6 months from their date of entry into Morocco.
Guests are responsible for checking and obtaining any necessary visas for travel to Morocco.
In accordance with Moroccan law, unmarried Moroccan couples are not permitted to share a room.
Pets are not allowed at the camp to ensure the comfort and safety of all guests.
Orient Desert Camp is not liable for cancellations, modifications, or failures in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure). Such events include but are not limited to: natural disasters, acts of terrorism, war, strikes, government regulations, or health emergencies.
Orient Desert Camp is not responsible for any accidents, injuries, illnesses, loss, or damage to personal belongings that may occur during your stay, unless proven to be a direct result of gross negligence by our staff. Guests participate in all activities at their own risk and are strongly advised to take out comprehensive travel insurance to cover unexpected events.
